Għada/ Illum Il-Ħadd nistiednu lit-tfal u l-familji għall-quddiesa tal-10.30am li fiha ser inbierku l-basktijiet tal-iskola animata mill-Kor tat-Tfal tal-Parroċċa. Jingħata l-mandat lill-katekisti għas-sena li ġejja. Wara ser issir Open Day l-Oratorju, fejn jitbierku l-klassijiet, jkun hemm logħob għat-tfal u ikel u xorb għall-bejgħ. Inħeġġukom tattendu.

Filgħaxija niċċelebraw il-Festa tal-Madonna tar-Rużarju. Fil-5.00pm quddiesa animata mill-Kor u wara Purċissjoni li fiha nitolbu t-talba tar-Rużarju li tgħaddi minn Triq Sir Harry Luke, San Pawl, San Pietru, Fisher u lura l-Knisja fejn nirċievu l-Barka Sagramentali.

Matul dan il-weekend issir il-ġabra speċjali għall-bżonnijiet tal-Parroċċa.

Matul ix-xahar t’Ottubru, mit-Tnejn sas-Sibt nitolbu r-Rużarju quddiem Ġesu Ewkaristija fis-6.30pm.

It-Tnejn 5 t’Ottubru niċċelebraw il-Festa ta’ San Franġisk fil-Kappella tas-Sorijiet Franġiskani. Fis-6.30pm Rużarju u saċerdot disponibbli għall-qrar u fis-7.00pm Quddiesa. Din is-sena qed niċċelebraw it-800 sena mill-mewt ta’ San Franġisk u tista’ tinkiseb l-indulġenza plenarja mill-knejjes Franġiskani kollha billi l-Insara jersqu għall-qrar u t-tqarbin u jitolbu skont l-intenzjoni tal-Papa. Il-Quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija fil-Knisja ma ssirx u kulħadd mistieden.

It-Tlieta 6 t’Ottubru  issir il-ħarġa għal Għawdex mill-Azzjoni Kattolika. Booking mal-membri tal-A.K.

Fis-7.30pm issir laqgħa fil-Knisja għall-ġenituri kollha tat-tfal tal-katekeżi.

L-Erbgħa 7 t’Ottubru tibda l-katekeżi għat-tfal mir-4 sas-6 sena fil-5.15pm.

Il-Ħamis 8 t’Ottubru tibda l-katekeżi għat-tfal tal-1 sat-3 sena fil-5.00pm.

Filgħaxija ssir l-adorazzjoni fil-Knisja Parrokkjali.

Il-Ġimgħa 9 t’Ottubru filgħodu tqarbin tal-morda tal-ewwel u t-tieni grupp. Filgħaxija tibda l-katekeżi għall-adoloxxenti tal-Griżma fil-5.00pm. L-Oratorju jiftaħ nofsiegħa qabel il-katekeżi għal ħin ta’ logħob.

Filgħaxija jibda t-tberik tad-djar u l-familji. Ser inbierku Ta’ Mrejnu, Triq Għajn Tuffieħa, Sqaq Ciantar, Sqaq in-Naħal u tal-Palma. Wara l-quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija jkun hemm adorazzjoni ż-Żebbiegħ.

Filgħaxija jkun hemm il-laqgħat taż-Żgħażagħ u l-Adoloxxenti fl-Oratorju.

Is-Sibt 10 t’Ottubru ser issir Pasta Night fiż-Żebbiegħ. Booking mal-membri tal-Kumitat.

Fis-6.00pm Quddiesa u wara adorazzjoni b’talb speċjali għall-vokazzjonijiet fis-Seminarju tal-Arċisqof. Kulħadd mistieden.  

Il-Ħadd 11 t’Ottubru il-quddiesa tal-10.30am għat-tfal u l-familji ssir fuq iz-Zuntier fejn isir it-tberik tal-annimali fl-okkażjoni tal-festa ta’ San Franġisk. Inħeġġukom tattendu. Il-weekend li ġej ser isir ġbir ħdejn il-bibien b’risq Hospice Malta.

Parish Notices – 5 to 11 October 2026

Tomorrow/Today, Sunday, we invite children and families to the 10.30am Mass, during which school bags will be blessed. The Mass will be animated by the Parish Children’s Choir. The catechists will also be commissioned for the coming year. Afterwards, there will be an Open Day at the Oratory, where the classrooms will be blessed, there will be games for the children, and food and drinks will be available for sale. We encourage you to attend.

In the evening we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. At 5.00pm there will be Mass animated by the Choir, followed by a procession during which we will pray the Rosary. The procession will pass through Sir Harry Luke Street, St Paul Street, St Peter Street and Fisher Street, returning to the Church where Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be given.

During this weekend, a special collection will be taken up for the needs of the Parish.

Throughout the month of October, from Monday to Saturday, the Rosary will be prayed in front of the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm.

Monday 5 October – We celebrate the Feast of St Francis at the Franciscan Sisters’ Chapel. At 6.30pm there will be the Rosary and a priest will be available for Confession, followed by Mass at 7.00pm. This year we are celebrating the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis. A plenary indulgence may be obtained in all Franciscan churches by the faithful who go to Confession and receive Holy Communion and pray for the intentions of the Pope. The evening Mass in the Parish Church will not take place, and everyone is invited to attend.

Tuesday 6 October – The Catholic Action outing to Gozo will take place. Booking with members of Catholic Action.

At 7.30pm there will be a meeting in the Church for all parents of children attending catechism.

Wednesday 7 October – Catechism for children in Years 4 to 6 begins at 5.15pm.

Thursday 8 October – Catechism for children in Years 1 to 3 begins at 5.00pm.

In the evening, there will be Eucharistic Adoration in the Parish Church.

Friday 9 October – Catechism for Confirmation adolescents begins at 5.00pm. The Oratory will open half an hour before catechism for a time of games.

In the evening, the blessing of homes and families begins. We will be blessing Ta’ Mrejnu, Għajn Tuffieħa Street, Ciantar Alley, Naħal Alley and tal-Palma.

In the evening, there will also be meetings for the Youth and Adolescents at the Oratory.

Saturday 10 October – A Pasta Night will be held in Żebbiegħ. Booking with members of the Committee.

At 6.00pm there will be Mass followed by Adoration with special prayers for vocations at the Archbishop’s Seminary. Everyone is welcome.

Sunday 11 October – The 10.30am Mass for children and families will be held on the Parvis, where the animals will be blessed on the occasion of the Feast of St Francis. We encourage you to attend.

Next weekend, a collection will be taken up at the church doors in aid of Hospice Malta.
