Fl-10.00am ċelebrazzjoni solenni tad-daħla tal-Mulej f’Ġerusalemm bit-tberik taż-Żebbuġ li tibda għand is-Sorijiet Franġiskani u wara ninżlu l-Knisja Parrokkjali fejn tkompli l-Quddiesa tal-Passjoni tal-Mulej bis-sehem tal-fratelli u l-abbatini. Inħeġġu t-tfal jiltaqgħu magħna għand is-Sorijiet u min jixtieq jista’ jilbes ta’ Lhudi.
Inħeġġukom biex issegwu l-programm tal-funzjonijiet tal-ġimgħa mqaddsa u tingħaqdu mal-komunità tagħna fl-aktar ġimgħa mportanti għalina l-insara.
Inħeġġukom biex fil-ġimgħa mqaddsa min jixtieq iġib fjuri bojod u weraq għall-artal tar-repożizzjoni. Jekk tixtiequ tistgħu ġġibu wkoll xemgħat ħomor biex jintużaw għall-vari tal-ġimgħa l-kbira u l-artal tar-repożizzjoni. Mhux aktar tard mit-Tlieta 31 ta’ Marzu.

Il-Ġabra tas-Seminarju tal-weekend li għadda mill-Knisja Parrokkjali kienet ta’ €2290. Miż-Żebbiegħ €722. F’isem is-Seminarju nirringrazzjawkom mill-qalb tal-ġenerożità tagħkom.
Matul dan il-weekend ħdejn il-bibien tal-Knisja qed isir ġbir u bejgħ ta’ affarijiet b’risq il-missjoni fil-Peru li ser jagħmel grupp ta’ voluntiera li hemm minnhom mill-Imġarr.

PARISH NOTICES:
Tomorrow/Today in the afternoon, a reflective walk will be held, organized by the Żebbiegħ Committee.
On Tuesday, 24th March at 5:00pm there will be Adoration in Żebbiegħ Church.
On Wednesday, 25th March at 7:30pm, the Way of the Cross will take place on Triq ir-Ruħ (the cemetery road), organized and written by ŻAK Imġarr. Everyone is invited to attend.
On Thursday, 26th March at 9:00am there will be a meeting for the Catholic Action women.
Between 6:00pm and 7:30pm, priests will be available for confession.
After the 6:30pm Mass, a Vigil with Our Lady of Sorrows will be held before Jesus in the Eucharist.
On Friday, 27th March – Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows
At 7:00am: Via Matris (prayers)
At 7:30am: Mass
At 5:00pm: Mass
At 5:45pm: Procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows passing through Sir Harry Luke Street, St Paul Street, St Peter Street, Fisher Street, and back to the Parish Church. When the procession returns, another Mass will be celebrated.
The Parish Office will be closed and there will be no Mass in Żebbiegħ Church.
On Sunday, 29th March – Palm Sunday
At 10:00am: Solemn celebration of the Lord’s entry into Jerusalem with the blessing of olive branches, starting at the Franciscan Sisters and then proceeding to the Parish Church where the Passion Mass continues with the participation of the confraternity and altar servers. Children are encouraged to meet at the Sisters’ location, and anyone who wishes may dress as a Jew.
We encourage you to follow the program of Holy Week functions and to join our community during the most important week for us Christians.
We also encourage those who wish to bring white flowers and leaves for the altar of repose during Holy Week. You may also bring red candles to be used for the statues during Holy Week and for the altar of repose. Please do so no later than Tuesday, 31st March.
A reminder about the Sacristy benefactors’ scheme.
The Seminary collection from last weekend amounted to €2290 from the Parish Church and €722 from Żebbiegħ. On behalf of the Seminary, we thank you sincerely for your generosity.
During this weekend, near the church doors there will be a collection and sale of items in aid of a mission in Peru, which will be carried out by a group of volunteers, some of whom are from Imġarr.
During this week, we bid farewell to Karmena Vella, Karmenu Muscat, and Angela Muscat.
