Fil-11.00am Quddiesa.

Fl-12.00pm Tintalab it-talba tal-Anġelus fejn l-istatwa tal-Assunta mal-ġenb tal-Knisja u ssir l-offerta għall-irfigħ tal-Vara.

Fil-5.30pm Quddiesa li fiha nitolbu t-Tieni Għasar tal-Festa.

Fis-7.00pm tibda ħierġa l-Purċissjoni bil-vara ta’ Santa Marija. Inħeġġukom ninġabru flimkien għat-talba tar-Rużarju li tibda fil-bidu ta’ Triq il-Kbira. Fejn l-Oratorju jieħu sehem il-Kor tat-tfal tal-Parroċċa. Fl-10.00pm nilqgħu l-istatwa ta’ Santa Marija fuq iz-Zuntier u fl-10.30am isir id-dħul fil-Knisja u nirċievu l-barka sagramentali.

Il-Ħamis 27 t’Awwissu Wara l-Quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija ssir l-adorazzjoni.

Fit-8.00pm bibta ta’ ringrazzjament għal dawk kollha li għenu fl-organizzazzjoni tal-festa.

Il-Ġimgħa 28 t’Awwissu fil-5.00pm adorazzjoni mis-Superjur Fenech fiż-Żebbiegħ.

Is-Sibt 29 t’Awwissu Fis-7.00pm Quddiesa u wara dħul tal-vara fin-Niċċa.

Il-Ħadd 30 t’Awwissu nistiednu lit-tfal u l-familji għall-quddiesa tal-10.30am.

Tqassam l-enevelop għall-bżonnijiet tal-festa. Dawk li jixtiequ jgħinu għandhom iġibu l-envelop il-Knisja.

Bukketti li ma jinxfux: Min jixtieq jagħmel l-offerta tiegħu fil-festa, bukkett li ma jinxifx,  din is-sena ser imorru biex inħallsu s-sistema ġdida tas-Sound tal-Knisja .

L-Uffiċċju Parrokkjali ser ikun magħluq sas-26 t’Awwissu.

Ir-Reġistrazzjoni għas-sena kateketika li ġejja ser isiru l-Oratorju fl-1 u t-3 ta’ Settembru bejn l-4pm u s-6pm.

PARISH NOTICES:

Tomorrow/Today, Sunday 23 August: Feast Day

At 5:30am and 7:00am, Masses will be celebrated. At 7:30am, Mass at Żebbiegħ; there will be no 11:30am Mass. At 9:00am, the Solemn Pontifical Mass of the Feast will be presided over by H.E. Mons. Sandro Overend Rigillo OFM, Bishop of Benghazi. The homily will be preached by Mons. Joseph Sultana.

At 11:00am, Mass.

At 12:00pm, the Angelus will be prayed by the statue of Our Lady of the Assumption beside the church, followed by the offering for the carrying of the statue.

At 5:30pm, Mass, during which we will pray the Second Vespers of the Feast.

At 7:00pm, the procession with the statue of Our Lady of the Assumption will begin. We encourage everyone to gather together for the Rosary, which will begin at the start of Triq il-Kbira. At the Oratory, the Parish Children’s Choir will take part. At 10:00pm, we will welcome the statue of Our Lady of the Assumption onto the parvis, and at 10:30pm the statue will enter the church, followed by Eucharistic Benediction.

Tuesday 25 August: Post-feast activity for the altar servers.

Thursday 27 August: After the evening Mass, there will be Eucharistic Adoration.

At 8:00pm, a thanksgiving gathering will be held for all those who helped in the organisation of the feast.

Friday 28 August: At 5:00pm, Eucharistic Adoration led by Fr. Fenech at Żebbiegħ.

Saturday 29 August: At 7:00pm, Mass, followed by the return of the statue to its niche.

Sunday 30 August: We invite all children and families to the 10:30am Mass.

Envelopes for the needs of the feast will be distributed. Those who wish to make a contribution are kindly asked to return the envelope to the church.

Long-lasting bouquets: Those who wish to make their offering for the feast by donating a long-lasting bouquet may do so this year in aid of the new sound system for the church.

The Parish Office will remain closed until 26 August.

Registration for the coming catechetical year will take place at the Oratory on 1 and 3 September, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
