Infakkkar fl-iskema tal-benefatturi tas-sagristija. Matul dan ix-xahar il-Parroċċa rebħet €233 mil-lotterija tal-irċevuti tal-VAT.
Il-Ġimgħa 30 t’Ottubru ser niċċelebraw il-festa tal-Qaddisin kollha għat-tfal. Fil-5.00pm quddiesa u wara festin fis-sala tal-Oratorju. Inħeġġu lit-tfal jilbsu tal-qaddis favorit tagħhom. Booking u dettalji online.
Infakkar fl-importanza tal-attendenza regolari għat-tfal tal-katekeżi. Mit-2 sena sas-sena tal-Griżma huma kollha obbligatorji biex it-tfal jitilgħu minn sena għall-oħra u biex jersqu għas-sagramenti. Dawk li ddeċidew li jaqbżu s-snin u jġibu t-tfal fl-aħħar sena, jew inkella jaqbżu s-snin u jsibu post ieħor fejn jagħmlu s-Sagrament, dan mhux ser ikun permess u lanqas ser jinħareġ permess mill-Parroċċa.
Parish Notices – 18th to 25th October 2026
Today/Tomorrow, Sunday, is World Mission Sunday. As we remember in our prayers the missionaries carrying out their work in other countries, this weekend’s collection will go towards supporting the missions. We encourage you to be generous.
A High Tea will be held beneath the Sacristy at 3.00 pm in aid of the Parish. We encourage you to attend.
Monday, 19th October
From 4.30 pm onwards, we will be blessing the homes in Triq Għelejjel and Triq Vitale.
Tuesday, 20th October
We will be blessing the homes in Triq Dun Ġużepp Micallef. At 5.00 pm, there will be a meeting for altar servers at the Oratory.
Wednesday, 21st October
At 3.00 pm, a gathering for the elderly, organised by the Parish Diakonia Commission, will be held at the Oratory. At 7.30 pm, the Cana Course will continue at the Oratory.
Thursday, 22nd October
At 9.30 am, the Catholic Action meeting will be held at the Oratory. In the evening, we will be blessing the homes in Triq San Filippu. Eucharistic Adoration will also take place in the Parish Church.
Friday, 23rd October
The Parish Assembly will be held at 7.00 pm at the Oratory. This meeting is open to every member of the Parish and will focus on the pastoral work and activities of our Parish. We encourage everyone to attend.
Please note that the evening Mass will not be celebrated in the Parish Church but at the Oratory. The Rosary will be prayed at 6.00 pm, followed by Mass at 6.30 pm.
Saturday, 24th October
A meeting for the parents of altar servers will be held at the Oratory at 8.00 pm.
Sunday, 25th October
We encourage children and families to attend the 10.30 am Mass.
On the same day, the feast of Our Lady of Itria will be celebrated at the chapel in Binġemma. The programme is as follows:
4.00 pm – Marching band programme
4.30 pm – Procession
5.00 pm – Mass

A reminder about the Sacristy Benefactors Scheme. This month, the Parish won €233 in the VAT receipts lottery.
On Friday, 30th October, we will celebrate All Saints’ Day for Children. Mass will be celebrated at 5.00 pm, followed by a party in the Oratory hall. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite saint. Booking and further details are available online.
Finally, I would like to remind parents of the importance of regular attendance at catechism classes. Attendance is compulsory from Year 2 up to and including the year of Confirmation. This is a requirement for children to progress from one year to the next and to be eligible to receive the Sacraments.
Parents who decide to skip years and bring their children directly to the final year, or who skip years and seek to have their children receive the Sacraments elsewhere, will not be permitted to do so. The Parish will not issue the necessary authorisation in such cases.
