Fil-quddiesa tas-6.30pm isir it-tesserament tal-Azzjoni Kattolika. Wara l-quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija ssir l-Adorazzjoni fil-Knisja Parrokkjali.
Il-Ġimgħa 5 ta’ Diċembru L-Ewwel Ġimgħa tax-Xahar. Il-Kappella tas-Sorijiet Franġiskani tkun miftuħa għat-talb fis-skiet fin-nofstanhar ta’ filgħodu.

Is-Sibt 6 ta’ Diċembru fl-4.30pm isiru l-provi tal-kor tat-tfal fil-Knisja.
Fis-6.00pm Nitolbu t-talba tal-Għasar u fis-6.30pm Quddiesa.
Matul il-weekend isir bejgħ ta’ ponsjetti, ħlewwiet u dekorazzjonijiet tal-Milied mill-grupp tal-fundraising fejn il-Knisja.
Il-Ħadd 7 ta’ Diċembru Fl-10.30am Quddiesa għat-tfal u l-familji fejn ser niltaqgħu ma’ persunaġġ importanti.
Matul dan l-Avvent fuq wara tal-Knisja nsibu kaxxa biex nitfgħu l-għotjiet tagħna b’risq id-Dar tal-Providenza. Inħeġġukom tkunu ġenerużi.
Il-Kummissjoni Familja ser torganizza nofstanhar Irtir tal-Avvent għall-familji/koppji/għarajjes immexxi minn Fr Martin Cilia MSSP nhar it-Tnejn 8 ta’ Diċembru ġewwa ż-Żebbuġ Għawdex. Din tinkludi riflessjoni, coffee break, quddiesa u ikel flimkien. Ser ikun provdut trasport mill-Imġarr. Booking online jew l-uffiċċju sa l-1 ta’ Diċembru. Postijiet limitati.

Fil-weekend li ġej issir il-ġabra speċjali għall-bżonnijiet tal-Parroċċa.
Nirringrazzjaw lil kull min qed jgħin biex nibgħatu l-irċevuti tal-VAT għal-lotterija. F’Ottubru l-Parroċċa rebħet €233. Jekk hawn xi ħadd li jista’ jgħin billi jieħu l-irċevuti l-Marsa darba fix-xahar ikellem il-Kappillan.
Issa li ntemm it-tberik, filwaqt li nirringrazzjawkom li lqajtuna fi darkom, nirringrazzjawkom ukoll tad-donazzjonijiet li tajtu lill-Parroċċa li jammontaw għal €4750.
Ser isir it-tqassim tar-rigali tal-Milied għat-tfal fid-djar fl-Imġarr minn Father Christmas il-Ħadd 21 ta’ Diċembru. Dawk li jixtiequ jħallu r-rigal għandhom jagħmlu dan fl-Uffiċċju Parrokkjali sas-17 ta’ Diċembru flimkien mad-donazzjoni tagħhom.
Qed jitqassam Dawl il-Punent bil-programm tal-Avvent u l-Milied fid-djar. Miegħu ssibu envelope tal-Ġabra tal-Milied b’risq il-proġett tas-Sagristija. Dan mhux ser jinġabar bieb bieb, għalhekk min jixtieq jgħin għandu jġibu hawnhekk fil-Knisja. Grazzi tal-għajnuna tagħkom.

Thursday 4 December
After the morning Mass, adoration will be held by the Divine Mercy group.
At 9:00am the A.K. Women’s meeting will take place in the Oratory.
During the 6:30pm Mass, the Catholic Action enrolment will take place.
After the evening Mass, Adoration will be held in the Parish Church.
Friday 5 December
First Friday of the Month. The Chapel of the Franciscan Sisters will be open for silent prayer in the late morning.
In the morning, Holy Communion will be distributed to the sick of the first group.
Saturday 6 December
At 4:30pm the children’s choir practice will be held in the Church.
At 6:00pm we pray Vespers and at 6:30pm Mass.
During the weekend there will be a sale of poinsettias, sweets, and Christmas decorations by the fundraising group near the Church.
Sunday 7 December
At 10:30am Mass for children and families, during which we will meet an important character.
During this Advent, at the back of the Church you will find a box for donations in aid of the Home of Providence. We encourage you to be generous.
The Family Commission will be organising an Advent Retreat afternoon for families/couples/fiancés led by Fr Martin Cilia MSSP on Monday 8 December in Żebbuġ, Gozo. This includes a reflection, coffee break, Mass, and a meal together. Transport will be provided from Mġarr. Booking online or at the office until 1 December. Limited places.
A reminder about the Sacristy project scheme.
Next weekend there will be a special collection for the needs of the Parish.
We thank all those who are helping by sending the VAT receipts for the lottery. In October the Parish won €233. If anyone can help by taking the receipts to Marsa once a month, please speak to the Parish Priest.
Now that the blessings have concluded, while we thank you for welcoming us into your homes, we also thank you for the donations you have given to the Parish amounting to €4750.
The distribution of Christmas gifts to the children in the homes in Mġarr will take place on Sunday 21 December by Father Christmas. Those who wish to leave a gift should do so at the Parish Office by 17 December together with their donation.
“Dawl il-Punent” is being distributed to homes with the Advent and Christmas programme. With it you will find an envelope for the Christmas Collection in aid of the Sacristy project. This will not be collected door-to-door; therefore, whoever wishes to contribute should bring it here to the Church. Thank you for your help.
