Ser isir it-tqassim tar-rigali tal-Milied għat-tfal fid-djar fl-Imġarr minn Father Christmas il-Ħadd 21 ta’ Diċembru. Dawk li jixtiequ jħallu r-rigal għandhom jagħmlu dan fl-Uffiċċju Parrokkjali sas-17 ta’ Diċembru flimkien mad-donazzjoni tagħhom.
Qed jitqassam Dawl il-Punent bil-programm tal-Avvent u l-Milied fid-djar. Miegħu ssibu envelope tal-Ġabra tal-Milied b’risq il-proġett tas-Sagristija. Dan mhux ser jinġabar bieb bieb, għalhekk min jixtieq jgħin għandu jġibu hawnhekk fil-Knisja. Wara li tlesta x-xogħol fuq l-art tal-ewwel sular, issa ser jibda jsir l-irħam tat-taraġ li ġej jiswa’ €4950 u l-ħadid għat-taraġ €4012. Ordnajna wkoll l-għamara li ġejja tiswa’ €23,600. Throughout this weekend the special collection for the needs of the Parish will take place.
Tomorrow/today we invite the children to the 10:30am Mass where they will meet a figure from Scripture.
Monday, 8th December – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception – Masses will be celebrated as on a weekday. The 6:30pm Mass will be sung.
The retreat organized by the Family Commission has been cancelled due to the low number of people who booked.
Tuesday, 9th December at 5:00pm there will be a meeting for the altar servers in the Oratory.
Thursday, 11th December at 9:00am there will be a meeting of the A.K Nisa in the Oratory.
The evening Mass will be held in the Oratory on the occasion of the 13th of the month.
At 8:00pm there will be a meeting for the 20+ Youth in the Oratory.
Friday, 12th December
In the morning the Communion for the sick of the second group will take place.
Saturday, 13th December
At 6:00pm we will pray Vespers and at 6:30pm there will be Mass.
Sunday, 14th December
At 10:30am there will be Mass for children and families during which we will celebrate St Nicholas.
From the 15th of December the Christmas Novena begins. You will find the programme in Dawl il-Punent or online.
During this Advent, at the back of the Church you will find a box where you may place your donations in aid of the Home of Providence. We encourage you to be generous.
A reminder about the Sacristy project.
The distribution of Christmas gifts for children at home in Mġarr by Father Christmas will take place on Sunday, 21st December. Those who wish to leave a gift should do so at the Parish Office by the 17th of December together with their donation.
Dawl il-Punent, containing the Advent and Christmas programme, is being distributed to homes. With it you will find an envelope for the Christmas Collection in aid of the Sacristy project. This will not be collected door-to-door, so whoever wishes to help should bring it here to the Church. After the completion of the flooring on the first floor, the installation of the marble for the staircase—costing €4,950—and the staircase ironwork—costing €4,012—will now begin. We have also ordered furniture which costs €23,600. Thank you for your support.
