Il-Ħamis 19 ta’ Frar Fid-9.00am issir il-laqgħa tal-A.K. Nisa fl-Oratorju.

Wara l-Quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija ssir l-adorazzjoni fil-Knisja.

Fis-7.30pm ser issir laqgħa għall-helpers u l-players tal-Maratona Sports fl-Oratorju.

Il-Ġimgħa 20 ta’ Frar Filgħodu jsir it-tqarbin tal-morda tat-tieni grupp. 

Infakkar fl-iskema tal-benefatturi tas-Sagristija.

Is-Sibt 21 ta’ Frar nagħtu bidu għal Maratona Sports li ser issir l-Oratorju b’risq id-Dar tal-Providenza u l-Oratorju. Attivitajiet għall-familja kollha, inħeġġukom tittawlu. Ir-Rużarju fis-6.00pm u l-Quddiesa fis-6.30pm ser isiru l-Oratorju mhux fil-Knisja. Apparti l-24 siegħa logħob ta’ billiard u table tennis, ikun hemm bejgħ ta’ ikel u pjanti u maratona tal-liedna. Is-Sibt ukoll ser ikun hemm Movie Night għat-tfal, għana u kif ukoll Live Music fil-bar.

Il-Ħadd 22 ta’ Frar (Maratona Sports) ser ikun hemm wirja tal-karozzi ħdejn l-Oratorju, pilates, rużarju fil-11am, logħob għat-tfal, u wara nofsinhar attività għaż-Żgħażagħ u football. L-għeluq tal-Maratona jkun għas-7.15pm. Id-dettalji kollha fuq il-poster.

Ser jibda jiltaqa’ l-grupp tal-koppji żgħażagħ. L-istedina hija miftuħa għall-koppji żgħażagħ miżżewġin kif ukoll dawk l-għarajjes li ser jiżżewġu dalwaqt. Niltaqgħu it-Tlieta 10 ta’ Marzu fis-7.30pm l-Oratorju.

Nhar il-Ġimgħa 27 ta’ Frar flimkien mal-Parroċċi tal-madwar qed norganizzaw lejla eżerċizzi għall-adoloxxenti, li ser tinkludi taħdita minn Bro. Antoine Galea SDB, ħin ta’ talb, logħob u ikel flimkien. Inħeġġukom twasslu l-messaġġ lill-adoloxxenti (mhux membri taż-ŻAK biss) biex jattendu u jimlew il-consent form minn fuq il-link li hemm fuq il-paġni tal-Parroċċa u ż-ŻAK.

PARISH NOTICES:

Tuesday, 17 February at 7:00pm there will be Lectio Divina in the Parish Church.

Wednesday, 18 February we begin the Holy Season of Lent.
At 7:00am we will pray the Way of the Cross.
At 7:30am there will be Mass with the imposition of Ashes.
At 6:00pm there will be a Penitential Pilgrimage with the Crucifix, departing from the Church and passing through Mons Orazio Vella Street, Gannmari Camilleri Street, Triq il-Kbira, and back to the Church.
At 6:30pm there will be the Solemn Mass for the beginning of Lent.

There will be no Catechism classes during this week.

During Lent in the Parish Church:

  • Every morning the Way of the Cross will be prayed at 7:00am.
  • Every Friday after the evening Mass there will be a meditated Way of the Cross.

Thursday, 19 February
At 9:00am there will be the Women’s Catholic Action (A.K.) meeting in the Oratory.
After the evening Mass there will be Adoration in the Church.
At 7:30pm there will be a meeting for the helpers and players of the Sports Marathon in the Oratory.

Friday, 20 February
In the morning, Holy Communion will be brought to the sick (second group).

Saturday, 21 February we begin the Sports Marathon at the Oratory in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and the Oratory. There will be activities for the whole family — we encourage you to attend. The Rosary at 6:00pm and Mass at 6:30pm will be held in the Oratory, not in the Church. Besides the 24-hour billiards and table tennis marathon, there will be food and plant sales and a pasta-eating marathon. On Saturday there will also be a Movie Night for children, traditional singing (għana), and live music in the bar.

Sunday, 22 February (Sports Marathon) there will be a car exhibition near the Oratory, pilates, the Rosary at 11:00am, games for children, and in the afternoon a youth activity and football. The Marathon will conclude at 7:15pm. Full details are available on the poster.

A group for young couples will soon begin meeting. The invitation is open to young married couples as well as engaged couples who will soon be getting married. We will meet on Tuesday, 10 March at 7:30pm in the Oratory.

On Friday, 27 February, together with the neighbouring Parishes, we are organising an evening retreat for adolescents. This will include a talk by Bro. Antoine Galea SDB, time for prayer, games, and food together. We encourage you to spread the message to adolescents (not only ŻAK members) to attend and to fill in the consent form available through the link on the Parish and ŻAK pages.

During this week we said our final farewell to Toni Bezzina and Ganni Galea.
