Għada/Illum il-Ħadd ser ikun hemm wirja tal-karozzi ħdejn l-Oratorju, pilates, rużarju fil-11am, fil-11.15am logħob għat-tfal, u wara nofsinhar attività għaż-Żgħażagħ u football. It-Tlieta 24 ta’ Frar fil-5.00pm issir il-laqgħa tal-abbatini fl-Oratorju.

L-Erbgħa 25 ta’ Frar jkomplu l-lezzjonijiet tal-katekeżi. Fit-3.00pm issir il-laqgħa għall-anzjani fl-Oratorju organizzata mill-Grupp Djakonija għall-Anzjani.

Il-Ħamis 26 ta’ Frar filgħodu ssir il-laqgħa tal-Azzjoni Kattolika Nisa.

Fl-4.30pm issir l-ewwel qrara għat-tfal li ser jagħmlu l-ewwel tqarbina. L-ewwel jidħlu t-tfal fil-knisja u wara jekk ikun hemm ġenituri li jixtiequ jersqu għall-qrar jistgħu jagħmlu dan ukoll.

Wara l-quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija ssir l-adorazzjoni.

Fit-8.00pm issir il-laqgħa taż-Żgħażagħ 20+ fl-Oratorju.

Il-Ġimgħa 27 ta’ Frar flimkien mal-Parroċċi tal-madwar qed norganizzaw lejla eżerċizzi għall-adoloxxenti ġewwa Sant’Agata r-Rabat, li ser tinkludi taħdita minn Bro. Antoine Galea SDB, ħin ta’ talb, logħob u ikel flimkien. Inħeġġukom twasslu l-messaġġ lill-adoloxxenti (mhux membri taż-ŻAK biss) biex jattendu u jimlew il-consent form minn fuq il-link li hemm fuq il-paġni tal-Parroċċa u ż-ŻAK. Nitilqu fis-6.30pm mill-Pjazza.

Is-Sibt 28 ta’ Frar filgħodu ser isir kors tas-safeguarding għall-operaturi pastorali speċjalment dawk li jaħdmu mat-tfal u l-vulnerabbli. Jekk hemm xi wħud li għadhom iridu japplikaw, jagħmlu dan mill-aktar fis billi tkellmu l-kappillan.

Il-Weekend li ġej issir il-ġabra speċjali għall-bżonnijiet tal-Parroċċa.

Ser jibda jiltaqa’ l-grupp tal-koppji żgħażagħ. L-istedina hija miftuħa għall-koppji żgħażagħ miżżewġin kif ukoll dawk l-għarajjes li ser jiżżewġu dalwaqt. Niltaqgħu it-Tlieta 10 ta’ Marzu fis-7.30pm l-Oratorju. L-Eżerċizzi għall-familji/koppji u għarajjes ser isiru f’format ta’ nofstanhar Seminar is-Seminarju r-Rabat, nhar il-Ħamis 19 ta’ Marzu u mmexxija minn Fr Martin Cilia MSSP. Inħeġġukom tidħlu online jew tiġu l-uffiċċju biex tibbukkjaw il-post tagħkom.

PARISH NOTICES:
During this weekend, the Sports Marathon is being held: 24 hours of billiards and table tennis in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and the Oratory.

Tomorrow/Today, Sunday, there will be a car show near the Oratory, pilates, the rosary at 11:00am, children’s games at 11:15am, and in the afternoon activities for youths and football. Tombola will take place at 2:30pm. The Marathon closes at 7:15pm. Full details are available on the poster. We encourage you to attend — there are activities for the whole family.

From Monday 23rd to Friday 27th February at 6:30pm, a course of spiritual exercises for everyone will be held at Żebbiegħ Church, led by Fr Jean Claude Attard.

On Tuesday 24th February at 5:00pm there will be a meeting for altar servers at the Oratory.

On Wednesday 25th February, catechism lessons continue. At 3:00pm there will be a meeting for the elderly at the Oratory, organised by the Diakonia Group for the Elderly.

On Thursday 26th February in the morning there will be a meeting of the Catholic Action Women’s Group.
At 4:30pm the first confession will take place for children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion. The children will first enter the church, and afterwards any parents who wish to go to confession may also do so.
After the evening Mass there will be Adoration.
At 8:00pm there will be a 20+ Youth Meeting at the Oratory.

On Friday 27th February, together with the surrounding Parishes, we are organising an evening of spiritual exercises for adolescents at Saint Agatha, Rabat. The programme includes a talk by Bro. Antoine Galea SDB, time for prayer, games, and a meal together. We encourage you to pass this message on to adolescents (not only ŻAK members) so that they may attend and fill in the consent form through the link available on the Parish and ŻAK pages. Departure is at 6:30pm from the Square.
At 4:15pm there will be a Eucharistic procession in Valletta. Details are on the posters on the noticeboard.

On Saturday 28th February in the morning there will be a safeguarding course for pastoral workers, especially those who work with children and vulnerable persons. Anyone who still needs to apply should do so as soon as possible by speaking to the parish priest.

On Sunday 1st March we invite children and families to the 10:30am Mass, animated by the Parish Children’s Choir.

During Lent in the Parish Church:

  • Every morning the Stations of the Cross are prayed at 7:00am.
  • Every Friday after the evening Mass there will be a meditated Stations of the Cross.

A reminder about the Sacristy benefactors’ scheme. We also thank those who bring their VAT receipts and those who are helping to collect them. This month we raised the sum of €855.

Next weekend there will be a special collection for the needs of the Parish.

A young couples group will begin meeting. The invitation is open to young married couples as well as engaged couples who will soon be getting married. We will meet on Tuesday 10th March at 7:30pm at the Oratory.

The Spiritual Exercises for families/couples and engaged couples will be held in a half-day seminar format at the Rabat Seminary on Thursday 19th March, led by Fr Martin Cilia MSSP. We encourage you to register online or come to the office to book your place.
