Illum/Għada niċċelebraw is-Solennità ta’ Corpus Christi: Fl-4.00pm Adorazzjoni, fil-5.00pm Quddiesa u wara Purċissjoni b’Ġesu Ewkaristija bis-sehem tat-tfal tal-ewwel tqarbina – inħeġġuhom jiġu bil-libsa tal-ewwel tqarbina, l-fratelli, l-kor u l-abbatini. Tgħaddi minn Triq il-Kbira, Dun Edgar, San Pawl, Ċentinarji tal-Parroċċa, San Filippu, waqfa ta’ talb għand is-Sorijiet Franġiskani, Triq Sir Harry Luke u lura l-knisja fejn tingħata l-barka sagramentali.

Il-Ħamis 11 ta’ Ġunju filgħodu ssir il-laqgħa tal-Azzjoni Kattolika Nisa.

Il-Ġimgħa 12 ta’ Ġunju Solennità tal-Qalb ta’ Ġesu. Fis-7.30am Quddiesa u wara espożizzjoni ta’ Ġesu Ewkaristija. Il-knisja tibqa miftuħa għall-adorazzjoni sa filgħaxija. Fuq wara tal-Knisja hemm karta bi slots ta’ nofsiegħa biex inniżlu isimna biex ma nħallux l-Ewkaristija waħedha.

Filgħodu jsir it-tqarbin tal-morda tat-tieni grupp.

Fis-6.00pm Adorazzjoni animata mill-Kummissjoni Liturġija.

Fis-7.00pm Quddiesa u wara Purċissjoni b’Ġesu Ewkaristija bis-sehem tat-tfal tal-ewwel tqarbina, l-fratelli, l-kor u l-abbatini, li tgħaddi minn Triq Fisher, Santa Marija, San Pawl fejn issir waqfa ta’ talb quddiem l-Oratorju animata miż-ŻAK, Sir Harry Luke u lura l-Knisja fejn nirċievu l-barka sagramentali. Ma jkunx hemm quddiesa fil-Knisja taż-Żebbiegħ.

Is-Sibt 13 ta’ Ġunju ser niċċelebraw il-festa tal-Qalb Bla Tebgħa ta’ Marija. Fis-6.30pm Rużarju u fis-7.00pm quddiesa quddiem l-Oratorju. Wara ninawguraw ir-restawr tal-istatwa u ssir spjega tax-xogħol mir-restawratriċi. Il-quddiesa tas-7.00pm ma ssirx fil-Knisja. Wara ser issir Pasta Night fil-bitħa tal-Oratorju, inħeġġukom tattendu u tibbukkjaw il-post tagħkom. Dettalji fuq il-poster.

It-Tlieta 18 ta’ Ġunju fit-8.00pm fl-Oratorju ser issir laqgħa għall-Koppji Żgħażagħ, miżżewġin u għarajjes. Inħeġġuhom jattendu.

Is-Sibt 20 ta’ Ġunju ser isiru l-provi tal-Kor tat-tfal u l-għada jkantaw fil-quddiesa tal-10.30am. Dettalji online.

Parish Announcements – 8–14 June 2026

During this weekend, a special collection will be taken up for the needs of the Parish.
Today/Tomorrow we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi:
4:00 pm – Adoration
5:00 pm – Mass
Followed by a Eucharistic Procession with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, involving the children who made their First Holy Communion. They are encouraged to wear their First Communion attire, together with the confraternity members, choir, and altar servers.
The procession will pass through Main Street, Dun Edgar Street, St Paul Street, Parish Centenary Street, St Philip Street, with a prayer stop at the Franciscan Sisters’ convent, then through Sir Harry Luke Street and back to the church, where the Eucharistic blessing will be given.


Thursday, 11 June (morning): Meeting of the Catholic Action Women’s Group.


Friday, 12 June – Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
7:30 am – Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
The church will remain open for adoration throughout the day until evening.
A sign-up sheet with half-hour slots is available at the back of the church to ensure that the Blessed Sacrament is never left unattended.
Morning: Holy Communion will be brought to the sick of the second group.
6:00 pm – Adoration led by the Liturgy Commission.
7:00 pm – Mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession with the participation of the First Communion children, confraternity members, choir, and altar servers.
The procession will pass through Fisher Street, St Mary Street, and St Paul Street, where there will be a prayer stop in front of the Oratory led by ŻAK, then through Sir Harry Luke Street and back to the church for the Eucharistic blessing.
There will be no Mass at Żebbiegħ Church.


Saturday, 13 June – Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
6:30 pm – Rosary
7:00 pm – Mass in front of the Oratory
Afterwards, the restored statue will be officially inaugurated, followed by an explanation of the restoration work by the conservator.
The 7:00 pm Mass will not be held in the church.
A Pasta Night will follow in the Oratory courtyard. Everyone is encouraged to attend and reserve a place. Details are available on the poster.


Tuesday, 18 June at 8:00 pm: A meeting for young married couples and engaged couples will be held at the Oratory. They are encouraged to attend.


Saturday, 20 June: Children’s choir rehearsals will take place. The choir will sing at the 10:30 am Mass the following day. Details are available online.


Friday, 26 June: A parish fundraising BBQ will be held near the Church Cross in preparation for the parish feast. Everyone is encouraged to book their place.
Parishioners are reminded of the Sacristy roster/scheme.


Details have been published for the Summer Club at the Oratory and other courses. Information is available online, and parents are encouraged to reserve places for their children.


During this past week, we gave our final farewell to Salvina Galea.
