Il-Ħadd 21 ta’ Diċembru Fl-10.30am Quddiesa għat-tfal u l-familji fejn nistednuhom iġibu bambin magħhom biex inberkuhom. Dakinhar jsir it-tqassim tar-rigali tal-Milied għat-tfal fid-djar fl-Imġarr minn Father Christmas. Dawk li jixtiequ jħallu r-rigal għandhom jagħmlu dan fl-Uffiċċju Parrokkjali sas-17 ta’ Diċembru flimkien mad-donazzjoni tagħhom.
Matul dan l-Avvent fuq wara tal-Knisja nsibu kaxxa biex nitfgħu l-għotjiet tagħna b’risq id-Dar tal-Providenza. Inħeġġukom tkunu ġenerużi.

It-Tlieta 23 ta’ Diċembru fil-5.30pm ser issir il-purċissjoni tal-bambin bis-sehem tat-tfal tal-katekiżmu. Inħeġġukom tingħaqdu magħna.
Ser isir kunċert tal-Milied fil-Knisja Parrokkjali mill-Kor Vox Dulcis Chorale bis-sehem tal-Kor tat-Tfal tal-Parroċċa tagħna nhar is-Sibt 27 ta’ Diċembru wara l-quddiesa ta’ filgħaxija. Inħeġġukom tattendu.
Il-Ġabra speċjali tal-weekend li għadda kienet ta’ €1345. Grazzi mill-qalb tal-għajnuna tagħkom.
Il-Kummissjoni tal-quddiesa tat-tfal u l-familji qed torganizza ġbir ta’ ikel u preserves b’risq is-Soup Kitchen tal-Franġiskani l-Belt li ser jiġu ppreżentati fl-Epifanija. Min jixtieq jgħin hemm il-qfief fid-daħla tal-Knisja.
Jekk tafu b’xi ħadd li għandu bżonn nwasslulu l-ikla nhar il-Milied minħabba każ ta’ mard, faqar jew loneliness tistgħu tkellmu lill-Kappillan mill-aktar fis. Infakkru wkoll li l-Caritas ser torganizza l-ikla tal-Milied ġewwa l-Kurja għal dawk li ser iqattgħu l-Milied waħedhom jew m’għandhomx mezz biex jagħmlu ikla.
PARISH NOTICES:
Tomorrow/today we invite the children to the 10:30am Mass during which they will celebrate St Nicholas.
On Monday, 15th December, the Novena begins. Mass will be at 6:30pm, followed by a moment of prayer. On the first day, all those who offer liturgical service are especially invited: readers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, and those involved in music.
On Tuesday, 16th December, the Second Day of the Novena, those of different nationalities living in Imġarr are invited. Please help spread the word.
On Tuesday, 19th December at 6:30pm, there will be the Christmas Novena, to which all people of different nationalities living in Imġarr are invited.
At 7:15pm, a meeting close to the Word will be held by Fr Sinclair Bugeja here in the church.
On Wednesday, 17th December, the Third Day of the Novena.
At 5:00pm, there will be a party for children from the third to the sixth year of Catechism, and at 6:30pm, the Novena Mass will be celebrated in the Church. This will be the last day that the Parish Office is open. It will reopen on 14th January.
On Thursday, 18th December, the Fourth Day of the Novena.
In the morning, the third group of the sick will receive Holy Communion.
At 5:00pm, a party will be held for the first and second-year catechism children in the Oratory, and at 6:30pm, the Novena Mass in the Church.
On Friday, 19th December, the Fifth Day of the Novena.
Between 5:00pm and 7:30pm, priests will be available for confession in the Church.
At 6:30pm, the Christmas Novena Mass for Youth will be celebrated with the participation of ŻAK Imġarr. Adolescents preparing for Confirmation next year are also invited. Afterwards, there will be an activity for ŻAK members in the Oratory.
On Saturday, 20th December, the Sixth Day of the Novena.
At 6:00pm, Evening Prayer, and at 6:30pm, Mass to which all Pastoral Operators are invited, followed by a celebration in the Oratory.
On Sunday, 21st December, at 10:30am, Mass for children and families. They are invited to bring their baby Jesus figures to be blessed. On that day, Christmas gifts will be distributed to children in their homes in Imġarr by Father Christmas. Anyone wishing to leave a gift should do so at the Parish Office by 17th December, together with their donation.
During this Advent, a box for donations in aid of Dar tal-Providenza can be found at the back of the Church. We encourage you to be generous.
A reminder about the Sacristy project.
The envelope for the Christmas Collection in aid of the Sacristy project has been distributed. This will not be collected door-to-door, so anyone wishing to contribute should bring it to the Church. Thank you for your support.
On Tuesday, 23rd December at 5:30pm, the procession of the baby Jesus will take place with the participation of the catechism children. We encourage you to join us.
A Christmas concert will be held in the Parish Church by the Vox Dulcis Chorale, with the participation of our Parish Children’s Choir, on Saturday, 27th December, after the evening Mass. We encourage you to attend.
Last weekend’s special collection amounted to €1345. Thank you sincerely for your generosity.
The Children and Family Mass Commission is organising a collection of food and preserves in aid of the Franciscan Soup Kitchen in Valletta, which will be presented on Epiphany. Baskets are available at the Church entrance for anyone wishing to contribute.
If you know of anyone who needs to have Christmas lunch delivered to them due to illness, poverty, or loneliness, please inform the Parish Priest as soon as possible. We also remind you that Caritas is organising Christmas lunch at the Curia for those who will be spending Christmas alone or who have no means to prepare a meal.
