Fis-6.10pm Nitolbu t-talba tal-Għasar u fis-6.30pm Quddies tal-Vġili tal-Milied.

Fit-8.00pm Quddiesa fil-Knisja ta’ Sant’Anna ż-Żebbiegħ.

Fl-10.30pm tiftaħ il-Knisja. Fil-11.00pm tibda Velja animata mill-Korijiet taż-Żgħażagħ, l-Kor Parrokkjali u l-Kor tat-tfal. Fl-aħħar issir il-prietka tradizzjonali tal-Milied minn żewġ abbatini.

F’12.00am tibda l-Quddiesa Solenni tal-lejl qaddis tal-Milied. Inħeġġukom tieħdu sehem.

Il-Ħamis 25 ta’ Diċembru Jum il-Milied, il-quddies kemm fil-Knisja Parrokkjali u anke dak taż-Żebbiegħ ikun bħal ta’ nhar ta’ Ħadd.

Il-Ġimgħa 26 ta’ Diċembru fis-6.00pm ċelebrazzjoni tal-Milied bil-prietka tat-tfal u quddiesa fil-Knisja ta’ Sant’Anna ż-Żebbiegħ.

Is-Sibt 27 ta’ Diċembru Niċċelebraw il-Festa tal-Familja Mqaddsa

Fis-6.30pm Quddiesa li għaliha huma mistiedna speċjali l-koppji u l-familji kollha b’mod speċjali dawk li żżewġu fl-aħħar sena.

Fis-7.30pm Kunċert tal-Milied fil-Knisja Parrokkjali minn Vox Dulcis Chorale u l-Kor tat-Tfal tal-Parroċċa.

Bejn id-29 u l-31 ta’ Diċembru jkollna l-Kwaranturi fil-Knisja Parrokkjali. Fuq wara tal-Knisja hemm karta biex niktbu isimna ħalli ma nħallux l-Ewkaristija waħedha.

Fuq wara tal-Knisja nsibu kaxxa biex nitfgħu l-għotjiet tagħna b’risq id-Dar tal-Providenza. Inħeġġukom tkunu ġenerużi.                                                                   

Infakkru fl-iskema tas-Sagristija.

L-Uffiċċju Parrokkjali jinsab magħluq. Jerġa jiftaħ fl-14 ta’ Jannar.

Tqassam l-envelope tal-Ġabra tal-Milied b’risq il-proġett tas-Sagristija. Dan mhux ser jinġabar bieb bieb, għalhekk min jixtieq jgħin għandu jġibu hawnhekk fil-Knisja. Grazzi tal-għajnuna tagħkom.

Il-Parroċċa reġgħet rebħet mil-lotterija tal-irċevuti tal-VAT ta’ Novembru is-somma ta’ €233.

Il-Kummissjoni tal-quddiesa tat-tfal u l-familji qed torganizza ġbir ta’ ikel u preserves b’risq is-Soup Kitchen tal-Franġiskani l-Belt li ser jiġu ppreżentati fl-Epifanija. Min jixtieq jgħin hemm il-qfief fid-daħla tal-Knisja.

PARISH NOTICES:

Monday 22nd December
At 6.30pm: Mass of the Christmas Novena for the altar servers and their families.
Afterwards there will be a celebration in the Oratory.

Tuesday 23rd December
At 5.30pm: Children’s Nativity procession leaving from the Parish Church through Fisher Street, Santa Marija, San Pawl, Dun Edgar and Misraħ l-Assunta, with the participation of children and their families.
At 6.30pm: Christmas Novena Mass.
In case of bad weather, a celebration will be held in the Church.

Wednesday 24th December – Christmas Eve
At 6.10pm: Evening Prayer (Vespers).
At 6.30pm: Christmas Vigil Mass.
At 8.00pm: Mass at St Anne’s Church, Żebbiegħ.
At 10.30pm: The Church opens.
At 11.00pm: Vigil animated by the Youth Choirs, the Parish Choir and the Children’s Choir. At the end there will be the traditional Christmas sermon delivered by two altar servers.
At 12.00am: Solemn Midnight Mass of the holy night of Christmas. You are encouraged to take part.

Thursday 25th December – Christmas Day
Masses in both the Parish Church and St Anne’s Church, Żebbiegħ, will follow the Sunday schedule.

Friday 26th December
At 6.00pm: Christmas celebration with a children’s sermon and Mass at St Anne’s Church, Żebbiegħ.

Saturday 27th December
We celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family.
At 6.30pm: Mass to which all couples and families are specially invited, especially those who were married during the past year.
At 7.30pm: Christmas Concert in the Parish Church by Vox Dulcis Chorale and the Parish Children’s Choir.

Between the 29th and 31st of December
The Forty Hours’ Devotion will take place in the Parish Church. At the back of the Church there is a sheet to write your name so that the Eucharist is not left alone.

At the back of the Church there is also a box for donations in aid of Dar tal-Providenza. You are encouraged to be generous.

We remind you of the Sacristy scheme.

The Christmas collection envelopes in aid of the Sacristy project are being distributed. These will not be collected door to door, so whoever wishes to help should bring them here to the Church. Thank you for your support.

The Parish has again won the VAT receipts lottery for November, in the amount of €233.

The Parish Office is closed for Christmas holidays. It opens again on the 14th of January.

The Commission for the Children’s and Families’ Mass is organising a collection of food and preserves in aid of the Franciscan Soup Kitchen in Valletta, to be presented on Epiphany. Those who wish to help will find baskets at the entrance of the Church.
